We had a great Thanksgiving with Gary's family in Iowa. The cousins played together for hours, and the adults ate until we couldn't eat any more. We talked, laughed, played poker (Skye, you won again!), and caught up on all the latest news. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful time!

Travel Dates
To our surprise, the U.S. Consulate already scheduled our adoption group's consulate date. Our agency thought it would be next week before we heard anything. So today we purchased our airline tickets, and it's official! We leave Friday, December 8 and return Friday, December 22.

We Have Travel Approval!
We'll be there soon, Leland! We were surprised and delighted to get the call this morning from our adoption agency telling us that China sent our Travel Approval. There are six families from our agency that will be traveling at the same time. The travel plans aren't finalized yet, but it looks like we will be leaving on December 7 and returning on December 21. We'll be home for Christmas! Now I really need to get in gear and finish packing!
